Lots of great changes this past few days, and I'm excited to share them all with you guys! As always, we thoroughly test everything before pushing it to the server, but there is still a chance we missed a bug or two (we don't have test servers running 100-200 players!), so please report any you find to the online staff members.
The major changes made were:
The Staff Handout has been revised to version 4.2.1, the updated version can be found here.
We had a brand new banner made, do /vote to check it out!
Staff will now show [STAFF] before their nameplate. Example.
Improvements made to /parkour. Preparations for 7.0.[1|2].22.
Fixed more bugs with clearlag, including tweaking the arrow and item despawn rate in all worlds. You probably won't notice much.
Cows that spawn in the mob arena now have a special name (they've always dropped potions when you kill them).
New command: /o. This will display how many players are online.
New command: /host. This will display a link to you of our server host's website.
New command: /warp fish. This will take you to the new and improved fishing dock at /wild, which now contains buy and sell signs for various fishing gear.
Bug fixed: you can no longer spawn creepers while inside of a nether portal block.
We added double jumping to /spawn! If you're in 1.8, you'll see things slightly different. There's a change this may need to be tweaked a little. DOUBLE TAP SPACE!
You will no longer take damage when falling in the spawn warzone. This is partially to help with the double jumping feature.
100% patched mcmmo disarming. No one liked it anyways.
Tweaked the internals of how vehicle movement is handled. I cannot stress this enough, if you find bugs while boating, let us know!
Made our anti duplication methods more aggressive, probably didn't patch anything, but it's always better to be safe than sorry!
Improved the feature that makes leashed mobs teleport to you when you teleport.
Patched a major piston lighting bug that could crash the server.
And lastly, we made tnt ignite when it's struck by lightning!
I hope you all like these recent changes; we've got a lot planned for Funky over the next few months, and we'll be rolling out lots of cool new features very soon!
